Cloudnine – Million Baby Experience
We had a blast creating this stop-motion ad for client Cloudnine. The ‘Million Baby Experience’ campaign was initiated by the client to communicate that the Cloudnine team (nurses, doctors, etc…) has collectively cared for over a million babies. Apart from the usual poster and hoardings, they also wanted a theatre ad and this is where the fun really began. We had been experimenting with stop-motion video and we pitched this concept of having the entire Cloudnine experience showcased in this unique style, packed into 30secs. The pitch was approved and 3 long days later it was complete! We shot over 800 frames, narrowed it down to around 120, followed by post production, editing & titling. As one can see from the behind-the-scenes images, all the equipment was taped to the ground to ensure that we had absolutely no lighting or framing variations between shots. We even did the background score, which was an acoustic guitar piece that was composed, tracked and mixed here at Aglet Design™.
This ad successfully played in theatres all over the city.
